Art holds many meanings for me, but the two disciplines that resonate most are design and photography. I am a graduate of San Diego State University, and my work is deeply influenced by a strong foundation in journalism, particularly photojournalism. Through writing and storytelling, I found my path into design, which has shaped my creative approach ever since. With more than two decades of experience as a journalist, designer, and photographer, I have developed a passion for visual storytelling in all its forms. Whether capturing a defining moment in sports, documenting the beauty of a landscape, or creating clean and engaging layouts, I strive to produce work that communicates clearly and leaves a lasting impression. My photography focuses on meaningful moments, from a championship winning goal to the quiet impact of light moving through a scene. In design, I enjoy building thoughtful concepts, including branding, campaigns, and editorial pieces that inform and connect with audiences. My work has been published by The Orange County Register, OC Sports Zone, Fox Sports, and organizations throughout Latin America. I also served as Art Director of OC Catholic from 2018 to 2022, and I currently continue showcasing my talents exclusively for OC Sports Zone as a freelance photographer/reporter/designer (2018-currently). Inspired by artists such as Ansel Adams, Jackson Pollock, and Andy Warhol, my work is driven by emotion and storytelling. I believe the strongest ideas are those that capture a moment or define a brand in a way that feels both immediate and enduring. |
